Yamazato at The Okura Prestige Bangkok presents a new seafood promotion featuring fish and crustaceans caught in the ice cold waters off Japan’s northerly island of Hokkaido.

The hotel’s award-winning signature Japanese restaurant is offering the special Gozen set lunch priced at Baht 1,275++. The menu comprises deep fried oyster with paprika, eggplant and maitake mushroom; starchy corn soup with scallop and wasabi; a sashimi course of tuna, yellow tail and surf clam; grilled snowfish with lavender sauce; simmered salmon fish ball in soy milk; tempura shrimp with pond fish, baby corn and asparagus; crab and salmon roe with rice, served with miso soup, and delicious Hokkaido cheese cake as the dessert.

The à la carte dinner menu also includes an extensive selection of Hokkaido seafood with individual dishes priced from Baht 200++. The Hokkai otsukuri sashimi (eight kinds for Baht 2,000++) includes crab, saury fish and botan shrimp. Hokkai nigiri includes nine types of sushi including crab, sea urchin, scallop, saury fish, tuna, sweet shrimp, black rockfish and yellow tail. The kani suki crab hotpot is always a very popular dish during the Hokkaido season. Other selections include Hokkaido seafood fry (deep-fried salmon, oyster, scallop and crab claw) and salmon tsumire tonyu nabe (salmon fish ball in soy milk hot pot).

The Gozen set lunch and à la carte dinner menu selections for the Hokkaido Seafood promotion are available from 5 October - 30 November 2015.
