The latest arrival on Bangkok’s jazz scene comes in the form of the widely celebrated Prode Tanapat and Steve Lowry Duo, here at the Millennium Hilton Bangkok to entertain guests three times weekly @ Flow; Riverside Restaurant until the end of March 2016.

Two veteran musicians, who have both played with top names in the music business internationally, Prode and Steve are all set to thrill guests with their vibrant mix of jazz numbers.

Together, as the Prode Tanapat & Steve Lowry Duo, the pair co-organized the prestigious ‘Salute the Music of the King’ jazz event in 2007, and from now until the end of March 2016, will be here at the Millennium Hilton Bangkok. They will be @ Flow; Riverside Restaurant.

  • Friday & Saturday: during dinner, from 6.00pm to 9.00pm @ THB 1,800 per person including access to Cheese Room
  • Sunday: during Sunday Brunch, from 11.45pm to 3.30pm @ THB 2,200 per person including welcome drinks at ThreeSixty and access to Cheese Room (Brunch starts from 11am to 4 pm.)

Guitar jazz guru Prode’s interest in music started early. During his illustrious career, Steve has performed with American Grammy Award winners Barry White, Kool and the Gang and TRAVARES; was presented with the ‘Best Instrumental Music’ award from Season Awards in 2003; and played a major role in Thailand’s music education scene. Today, however, besides his many festivals, concerts and club performances, most current fans will know Prode best as host to TV programme Guitar Tips by Prode Tanapat on Truevisions.

Steve, who hails from New Jersey, is a vocalist, brass instrumentalist and composer. His love for music began early, long before he attended Berklee College of Music, the same establishment music buddy Prode would attend years later. He has performed with such musical greats as Motown legends Martha Reeves and the Vandellas, the Temptations, the Four Tops, Funk Brothers and Earl Van Dyke and Pistol Allen, not to mention on television, radio and in other productions. He has also joined recording sessions with legendary recording artist and songwriter Leon Russell; Tommy Peterson of NBC’s Tonight Show; Russ Freeman (the Rippingtons), and Jean Luc Ponty’s long-time guitarist Jamie Glazer.
