This is my last cafe for the this trip and I actually didn’t plan to pay a visit until one of my respected coffee people in Thailand simply told me “You should go.” Just that I’m convinced to add another cafe for this cafe crawl trip.The name is quite unique indeed even though it sounds strange to me at the beginning. However, the coffee had a dirty tone on a very far end of the taste spectrum. It was not easy to notice but if you looked, it was there for you to be found. Initially I thought it was the roaster and green bean selection issue. Nevertheless, after discussion with quite a few barista and having quite a few Colombia lately, this could be the issue with coffee bean from Colombia this year which, I was told, is not as good as years earlier. So I gave the benefit of the doubt to the quality of the roast here. So did the bean selection. Espresso of Size S blend of Ethiopia, Colombia and Thai, all natural coffee, was pulled by Mr. Kong himself from Strada MP and the Fiorenzato grinder, an Italian grinder which is new to me. The espresso was on the tight side, which I don’t like, but I can’t complain much for the rest of the cup.
