Emquartier is really a good place to visit and wander and where is a mix of all kinds of food including Asian food, Japanese food etc.Nara is honoured Thailand's best restaurant in 2017 and which is why it is reported in the guidebooks. According to the reference book to Thai, we had seen people recommend travellers going here to eat Thai food. Not many people waiting and we got our seat just in a second. I guess this is a relatively expensive restaurant in Thai, so not many Thailand local will come. The settings are grand and high-class, ranking from their cutlery to dishes. All Thai food is packaged as glorious dish.
There is a board showing the top 12 dishes in this restaurant. Among them, I just ordered one which is Larb Tord.
Larb Tord is really a hot food as it is deep fried with chilli and seasame and it is extremely crunchy. It is actually a spicy fried northeastern pork balls (I guess it is a fusion dish?). It is featured though I felt like heated after eating this. You can see there are vegetables aside with some pieces of leaf which makes it looks better.
More than this, I must order stir-fried morning glory in every Thai meal and there was no exceptional. The morning glory in Nara called Phad Pak Bung. This would be my favourite. It was surely spicy and the source was tasty that made me non-stop eating.
The third thing we ordered was Rice Noodles in Hot & Spicy Tom Yum Soup with Roasted Pork, Pork Ribs & Shrimp Balls served with Soup. No ordering a bowl of Tom Yum Soup, I was not gonna miss this local food in the top restaurant. I ate noodles with Tom Yum. The soup was filled with peanuts and there was lots of food inside and they were mainly meat.
We had a great time in here as the environment made us relaxed and enjoyable throughout the dining time. It did attract people from local and non-local eating here and we saw foreigners next to us too. It is international.
