Light and airy ISO all-day dining international gourmet restaurant, featuring picture windows looking directly into the lush green expanse of Nai Lert Park, continues to offer some of the best and most varied buffet lunches and dinners in Bangkok. Featuring an ever-changing rotation of special delicacies on live cooking stations and high-tempo open kitchen, lunch time buffets are priced just 650++ Baht per person with optional drinks packages bringing the total to from 1,199++ Baht per person (soft drinks and juices only) to 2,199++ Baht per person (soft drinks, wine, beer and sparkling wine). As per tradition, relaxed and stylish Syn Bar has created two brilliant new cocktails with which to toast the April celebrations. The expert mixologists at the centrally-located lounge bar overlooking the park have created a Martini and a Margarita at once tangy, fruity and intriguing. Apple Pie Martini starts with a base of vodka, mixed with Socrates apple raisin cinnamon syrup, fresh apple and cinnamon powder. Lychee Ginger Margarita has premium tequila at its core, blended with Socrates lychee ginger syrup, fresh lime and Cointreau. Both are priced 325++ Baht
Light, upscale and accessible, Gourmandises Café & Bakery, meanwhile, further cultivates its creative culinary credentials with three special menus also aimed at beating the heat: a dessert, a sandwich and a salad. Taking advantage of the best time of year for Thailand’s favorite fruit, gateau of the month is Frozen Mango Sticky Rice Cake, priced 750++ Baht. Ripe orange mango forms the basis of a delectably soft mousse cake with a sweet sticky rice center. Garnished with white chocolate and mango, it raises the traditional mango/sticky rice combination to an art form. Chicken Chorizo is April’s signature sandwich. Here freshly-baked ciabatta bread is generously filled with herb-marinated roasted chicken and Spanish chorizo sausage, priced 165++ Baht. Moreover, Zucchini and Feta Salad combines zucchini shavings with crunchy walnut, soft feta cheese and crisp green oak lettuce, dressed with a tangy lemon dressing, priced 165++ Baht.
Last but not least, Pool Bar, set amidst all that towering foliage and those reflective ponds and pool, has created two new ways to chill out in style with a non-alcoholic Tropical Fruit Crush (fresh papaya, pineapple juice, grapefruit juice) 210++ Baht and Kaffir Lime Cooler (vodka, coconut rum, apricot brandy, fresh lemon, kaffir lime leaves) 300++ Baht.
