The back-lit marble bar in the corner of the luxury Kempinski hotel lobby opens all day, is a respite from the shopping mall, where we stopped for a quiet time to enjoy coffee, tea, cocktails and pastries. There are many Japanese style cakes, like cream roll cake, strawberry short cake and matcha cake around Baht 160 each, are all of our favorites.
