Romantic Dinner @ Marriot Cafe'This restaurant locates in Marriot Hotel, Sukumwit Road.The atmosphere around the hotel is decorated for Christmas and New Year Celebration.There are various light and Christmas Tree.There are many people here, almost of them come here for business and family dinner.Most of clients are foreigners.This time I visit here, it's an international dinner buffet.Which include all food selections and coffee / tea for drinks.There are Japanese Food, Seafood, Western menu, Salad, Thai food, and Dessert.Japanese food composes of various type of raw meat, for example, Tuna, Salmon, Eel,Crab Stick, Seaweed and Octopus, which serve as Sushi and Sashimi.In the Western Style corner, you will see many fish menu; fried, oyster, grilled, etc.There are also stir fried vegetable with butter, various bread, and cheese.The make to order spaghetti is one of the signature here. There are many sauces such as Cabonara, and Tomato Sauce.In the middle of this restaurant, there are a big shelf with full of seafood.The high light is Giant Crab Leg, shrimp, and oyster which serve on ice.There are several types of sauces.Moreover, there are Thai food corner for foreigners. Such as Musman, Pla Koong.Its taste is not too hot to try !The last but not less is dessert. I really like its home-made ice-cream; coconut, chocolate, vanilla, strawberry, and mocha flavor. The chocolate fountain around withfresh fruit and muskmelon.There are Thai desserts and western menu; various cake like Tong-Yod, Look-Choob, Tiramitsu, Chocolate Cake, Apple Crumble, Chocolate Mooses, Mixed Berry Shot, etc.You also can enjoy free water, coffee and tea here. Swensen's has promoted a new ice-cream favor.It's chocolate flavor ice-cream with sliced dark chocolate, crispy chocolate ball, and chocolate sauce. It's dark brown color and very good smell which directly present to chocolate lover. Actually, Swensen's has many ice-cream menu. you can select from a big menu book.And there are various flavors of ice-cram which you can see by yourself in the refrigerator stands in front of the shop.Today, after I had dinner, I feel very full, but also want to have ice-cream. Hence I order only a scoop of ice-cream. Yes, sure, I order new chocolate flavor.I choose to put my ice-cream in a waffle cone which is free of charge.The ice-cream is very rich of chocolate taste. It's ingredients are very compatible.But the taste of waffle cone is too sweet. And it's sweeter than ice-cream.I go to this ice-cream shop around 9 o'clock which is nearly closed time of department store. But there are many people having ice-cream in shop. I've to wait for staff to serve my item.The decoration is same as other branches, it decorate in the theme of fun and interesting.When you walk in, you'll notice a bog refrigerator with clear glass. There are many flavors of ice-cream shows for selecting. And you also can ask for try them for free !!The overall, it's one of the best ice-cream cafe' I've ever met. Another my favorite Japanese restaurant is "Zen" Japanese restaurant. It has many branches over Thailand, in department store, exhibition center, etc.It provides Modern Japanese fusion style food which is similar to Fuji Restaurant,Zen decorates more modern than Fuji.It decorates by a big painted jar, painting picture, and Japanese cultural objects.The dish and bowl have painting in Japanese style which also lead real feeling of restaurant.There are 2 types of seats, sofa and chair.Tonight, there are many people waiting in a queue, so I can't select my own seatAnd I've to wait for seats and order The recommended menu for sushi set is special sushi set.A set composes of big dish of various sushi, a small bowl of Miso soup, Kimji, and Boiled Salmon in soup. Special sushi consists of shrimp roll, tempura shrimp rolls, avocado roll, eel roll, salmon roll, and 2 pieces of other fish rolls. I suggest to have it with Wasabi and Japanese Soy sauce which will lead your food more tasting. And it also good for your health.A soup has mushroom, tofu, miso powder, and clear soup. Zen is a Japanese Restaurant which offer main dish, side dish, dessert, and drinks.For appetizers, there are kyoza, Takoyaki, Okonomiyaki ( Japanese Pizza ), Salads,crispy deep fried Cheese with meat roll, etc.Kyoza is one of my most favorite. Its cover wheat is too much crispy and hard.There are fresh vegetable besides kyoza and a small bowl of sour sauce. Inside kyoza, there are pork, vegetable and herbs.Takoyaki is one of the most famous items. It looks like small ball.Inside has flour, small green vegetable and tiny pieces of octopus.It serves in a hole-plate, topped with sliced dry fish, seaweed and sauce.Its sauce is very compatible to takoyaki. Daddy Dough offers various styles of dough nut.Its flour is very soft and yummy. There are many flavors.The recommended flavor is according to photo; teramitsu, chocolate almond, white chocolate, very chocolate.Teramitsu composes of coffee and chocolate. It covers with white cream sauce, and cocoa powder on top. Its taste is little bitter but the major taste is sweet.You'll feel very chocolate and coffee at the same time.Another is white chocolate. Its flour is vanilla flavor and topped with white chocolate sauce anddecorates with black color of chocolate lines. It's sweeter than tiramitsu.The very chocolate; chocolate flavor flour with dark chocolate sauce at the top. Wung Lung Bakery is well-known for a long time. They offer home made bakery daily.It locates in Wunlung Plaza, near Siriraj hospital and Siriraj pier.My favorite menu is palmyra filling pie and chocolate pie.Palmyra filling pie is made from fresh palmyra and jelly.Its top cover and filling are very soft while its edge is crispy.There are 2 size; large and small. The price is not much different.So I think the bigger is more value ^^"Its major taste is sweet, and has little salty from wheat-cover.Another is Chocolate pie.It differs from palmyra's. because it's very smaller.It has about 12 pieces per box.It's covered with chocolate sauce.and the wheat cover is more crispy.If you visit late afternoon, you may miss it ! It's in the corner of the ground floor of Chula Book Center.There are various type and shapes of doughnut; star, ball, circle, ring, meat ball, etc.Thus you'll see fancy and colorful bakery here. You can choose your selection by your own pieces or choose them from promotion set menu.There are not only doughnut, but also have beverages. For example, orange juice, water, iced coffee, iced chocolate.My favorite menu is small normal filling doughnut, and ponder-ring.I like strawberry jam filling doughnut in small size. Bitter Sweet is a homemade ice-cream shop which offers dining in and take-away ice-cream.They has not only ice-cream, they also have many toppings. They topping includes sweet red cherry, chocolate chips, strawberry jelly, chocolate cookie,waffle, brownie, colorful candy, etc.The ice-cream for today is Matcha Green Tea on waffle cone. It's my most favorite flavor.Actually you can select between waffle cone or just paper cup. Both of them are free of charge.Green tea flavor's very rich of taste. When you bite it with waffle cone, it's very very very yummy.In my opinion the ice-cream is too less, I usually eat all ice-cream before the waffle cone is empty. The ice-cream is easy to melt due to warm weather in Thailand. So, I can't slowly eat it and feel its taste clumsy. I've to hurry. When I slowly eat ice-cream, it melt down to my hand, and it's very sticky and sweet.The day that I went there, it rained. Hence, there were less people there.I didn't have to wait for long. The Campus is a restaurant in Grand Hyatt Erawan Bangkok Hotel.It's a room which anybody can rent and make a feast.Today is my sister's graduation ceremony, and we select this restaurant.It is an international buffet. There are various kinds of food; Japanese, Western, European, American, Thai, and Asian styles. There are also has a popcorn and jelly corners for kids, dessert area, and big refrigerator shelf for display many fresh food.The decoration style is in the same way as its name. There are lecture room, glass board, and a small student statue in this room. Or can put as much chocolate fondue as you want in your dish.But not for long, the melt warm chocolate will turn to be solid.When it's solid, it will easily attach your teeth The chocolate is very compatible with ice-cream and banana.Here has various flavors of ice-cream.
